Gir National Park which is situated in the Junagadh District of Gujarat, is the last refuge park of the majestic Asiatic Lion in India. This National Park was established in 1965 to protect the endangered Asiatic tigers. Today this park hosts 350 tigers, along with many other wild creatures, where visitors can experience the jeep safari and witness the park's Flora and Fauna. The Gir National Park is renowned for its conservation of wildlife, especially the Asiatic Lion, making it a must-visit place for the safari. Through the jeep safari visitors can experience encountering these Asiatic Lions along with the Chital, Nilgai, Sambar Deer and many more. This place is no less than heaven for bird lovers, here you will find your king Vulture and the Rhesus Macaque. The open-jeep safari allows you to immerse yourself in this beautiful landscape and capture all of the wildlife with the safari. Gir National Park doesn't have designated zones, but it does have 13 zones and because this place is interconnected from the inside the safari can take visitors anywhere. There are some popular zones in Gir National Park such as
This zone is the heart of the National Park and is known for its terrain and diverse wildlife. The jeep safari in this zone offers a memorable experience for the visitors to witness the amazing landscapes of this lush green national park. Only 6 visitors can sit in the Gypsy and one child between 3-12 years.

This zone has 3 safaris, the first is the minibuses, which are designed by the Forest Department and operate from the reception area. You can book your safari bus from there. Second, visitors can book personalized safari with a tour guide, who knows everything about the Park. And the last is Gypsy, where 6 visitors can sit and one child between 3-12 years.

This zone is also an Interpretation zone and is 7 KM away from the Dhari Taluka. This zone was established in 2017 and offers the safari Bus (Non-Ac). This zone is home to various types of flora and fauna that offer the adventure in your jeep safari.

This zone was started so that there is no overcrowding in the Susan Gir zone. Visitors can take the Gypsy, where only 6 people can sit with one child between 3-12 years with a trained guide and enjoy the panoramic views of this zone.

This zone is the home of Blackbuck, which is also known as the Indian Antelope. The park is full of dotted grasslands, shrublands, and wetlands making it the ideal place for the jeep safari. The open-jeep safari offers to witness the blackbuck, who is roaming freely on this ground.

While the Gir National Park is known for the Asiatic Lions, this park is also home to a variety of wildlife where you can see the such of animals like Leopards, Chital, Nilgai, Sambar Deer, Crocodiles and over 300 species of Birds.
In the jeep safari make sure visitors behave appropriately with the guides and animals. Don't take plastic water bottles, ensure visitors take the steel bottle, so there is no dirt spread over the park. Wear full-length clothes, so you can be safe from mosquitoes and other insects that harm you. Carry essential things like - Goggles, Caps, Cameras, Binoculars and don't forget the sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. And follow the guide instructions.
